From January 2002 I was working on the position Chief of Production in the production company. This company is manufacturing screws for wood, plastic and metal.
The production has been started right from green field. There was built a production workshop 4.000 m2 big in a period from 2002 to summer 2003. I have learnt in mother-company in Germany, how to manufacture screws, during
6 months long course. I have been taken part in choosing the subcontractors for several installations for a workshop, finals check-up, procedure of state approval for use, replacement of production machines from Germany to Poland. I have been chosen the workers and I have been managing their training. (The skills to manage production machines for screws are so specific, that there is just very seldom to find someone, who poses the right know-how.)
German company Altenloh, Brinck & Co GmbH (wide known from their SPAX-screws) has established a Polish company Altenloh, Brinck & Co Sp. z o.o. some years ago. Polish company was originally a trade company. In 2003 they have also began the production of screws. In this company I was the Chief of Production. After that the company Altenloh, Brinck & Co Sp. z o.o. was divided out to two companies, to separate the branches on trade and production.
A production company was called ABC Fasteners Production Sp. z o.o.
I was working there on the position of managing director.
My duties: running the production, ordering materials for production, tools, spare parts, trucks for transportation the products, keeping contact with customers, checking quality of products, planning the production, planning the maintains, working out claims, checking and signing all invoices we got, solving all problems concerning stuff (salaries, work discipline, dismissing and engaging), cooperation with controlling department in Germany (answering questions regarding monthly financial balance, developing and sending requested data), working out data
of monthly stock-taking, cooperation in planning a next-year budget with controlling department, financial director and managing director in Germany, representing company during controls by Inland Revenue, Fire Brigade, etc., taking care about workshop and building installations.
Daily contact with German company was in German language.
There was working 32 persons in the company. The production was running
in two shifts plus one shift on Saturdays. The company ABC Fasteners Production was closed in summer 2008. The reason is over-production both
in Germany and in Poland.

Skandinavisk Miljø Service Oddział w Polsce
Skandinavisk Miljø Service A/S is a Danish company operating in environment protection. They design, manufacture and deliver jet filter installations, electrostatic precipitators for heavy industry and power plants, sewage treatment plants, desulphurisation systems.
I was working on the position of Site Manager in Kraków. I have been supervising the installation of jet filters for reducing dust in gases in steel works (mixer department) and modernize electrostatic precipitator in steel works Huta im. Sendzimira. The range of work was done in following branches: steel constructions, anticorrosion, mounting installation, electric, automatic, thermal insulation, start up of installation. I was responsible for full filling the contract according quality and time-limits, coordination and agreements with customer, custom clearance, translations from German language during meetings
and texts.
After some stage of work in Kraków I was active in power plant Dolna Odra (by Szczecin). SMS-company was building gas canals (way of flue gas flow, between the boiler and the electro-filter to the desulphurisation system) of boilers no. 7&8. SMS was also a legal representative of German company Lurgi Lentjes Bischoff which was a part of consortium with polish company Polimex-Cekop. Consortium had a contract with Dolna Odra for desulphurisation system for boilers no. 7&8 for power plant Dolna Odra.
I was responsible for supervising the dust canals, technological installations like gypsum storage, gypsum loading station, flokulent installation. Another part of my work was control of cash-flow from customer and to subcontractors, preparing documentation for legal state approval for usage of desulphurisation installation.
I was speaking daily German language and with Danish workers in English language.

The company Saarberg -Hölter – Lurgi is a part of concern Tessag-INA.
The company SHL has built an desulphurisation installation for blocks 1, 2, 3, 4 in power plant Opole and Dolna Odra. I was working in the German team.
My duties: control, if invoices of subcontractors are written according to the contracts; checking steel constructions; custom clearance and deliveries of goods from abroad made by spedition company Rhenania and customer power plant “Dolna Odra”; cooperation with storage; checking functional sheets of desulphurisation installation; start up of desulphurisation installation; translations of texts from German language to Polish language.

In that time were build desulphurisation installations for blocks 1, 2, 3, 4.
I was working in the team combined from Polish and German people.
My duties: supervising building and start up of desulphurisation installation; chairing and taking part in meetings (meetings were running both in Polish and German language, meetings have considered problems in electric and automatic branches, also start up of installation); translations of texts from German language to Polish language.
