around Zhangzhou and the country side. Some of the schools that I taught at include No 1 Middle School in Yunxiao, No 2 Middle school Zhangzhou, No 2 Vocational School, Li Ren Private school, Dadi Kindergarten etc.
- The classes sizes varied from 10 – 50 students.
- I taught at Dadi Kindergarten for over two years and I enjoyed every minute of it seeing some of my students graduate from the kindergarten and go onto primary school. The age of the children there varied from 4 to 6 years of age.
- I taught grammar, phonetics, spoken English (conversation) and particular emphasis on pronunciation.
- I also taught many adult classes in the evenings and also business English to the adult students.
- I was also responsible for teaching 1-2-1 (face to face) to various students who intended to go and study abroad. I currently have 5 students who I taught that are now studying abroad in Australia, New Zealand and England and they keep in contact with me and let me know how they are getting on, it’s very exciting to hear from them.
