DESCRIPTION:
ROLE OF PRECOMMISSIONING & COMMISSIONING ACTIVITIES FOR 220KV GIS/ 33/3.3KV/440V WITH VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE SUCH AS ABB ADVANT CONTROLLER SYSTEM(ACS) 6000&6111 + OVER ALL CONTROLL BY DELTA-V EMERSON DCS RMV 9000.
To ensure that the new plant facilities are fully and safely commissioned in time to meet the production schedule
Close coordination with project Construction Director, maintenance and HSE departments to ensure input from all parties
Production of appropriately detailed commissioning procedures
Supervision of all parties involved (project, operations, maintenance, contractors personnel, vendors etc) during commissioning
Reviews the project technical documentation and the contractual requirements.
Defines commissioning work packages and prepare the relevant procedures with the assistance of discipline engineers.
Work with CAD Micro Station and Network Engineer (for copper and fiber cable systems) development, installation details, schematics, one-lines, network diagrams, input/output schedules and other drawings.
In addition, work with developing communication network strategies, writing proposals, functional and detailed design specifications
Provide technical services to Maintenance and Operations Divisions with regard to communication systems, Assess plant facilities & process arrangements, and recommend new installations or modifications to improve plant control performance or replacement of defective or communication systems
Supervises commissioning field activities.
Prepares & co-ordinates the commissioning checklists,punchlist&dossiers.
Ensures safe execution of all commissioning activities through the application of the work permit procedure.
Knowledge of supervising all commissioning & precommisioning(to check the component validity by testing,calibration) activities
Responsible for any safe work in the Utilities and Offsites Areas Ready for Operation
Participate in regular preservation and Construction, maintenance coordination meetings with COMPANY.
Ensure that all equipment in Completion Packages are ready for Handover on schedule.
Control all spare parts, consumables and tools utilized in the Operating Areas
Direct daily Construction,Commissioning,maintenance activities in Completion Packages.
Identify required resources, men and material, necessary to keep the utilities reliable during the commissioning of the Process Areas.
Ensures that all punchlists, preventive maintenance Programs do not impede the reliability of the Utilities Operations during the commissioning of the Process Areas.

• Created applications to update and view transaction data charts for all PACER customer transactions (written in C, Javascript, PHP, BASH, jQuery, using MySQL, Flash, Apache, cron).
