As an education student, I am looking for a job that is related to my study and passions. Travel and cultural exchange excite me, which has made me interested in teaching ESL specifically.
I have experience teaching and helping people of all ages. With my course work, I have some experience with planning classes as well as teaching children art. Additionally, I worked with young children at Vacation Bible Camp which was one of my favorite experiences while volunteering in AmeriCorps NCCC. AmeriCorps also allowed me the opportunity to teach my peers about managing their stress and health on a weekly basis. I have also helped several students new to the US with learning English as a second language. They arrived at school barely able to communicate. It was rewarding helping them learn, as well as learning from them.
Lastly, I believe I would be a good fit for this job because I am passionate about teaching and helping others. My schedule is almost always open during peak hours and weekends and would give my full dedication to giving the students a good English education. Thank you for your consideration.
