With this cover letter and attached resume, I would like to express my interest in obtaining an employment as an English teacher. I am confident that I am the right person for the vacancy and believe I would also be an asset to your school, making its foot print a blessed and outstanding one if given the opportunity.
I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture General at the University of Botswana in May 2014. I can offer you my 17 years of my skills and knowledge in English language I gained from several courses I studied at Primary school, Junior secondary school, Senior secondary high school and at the University of Botswana in the Department of Economics, Basic sciences, and Education as outlined in my CV. I believe working in your school will suite my professional interests in running my own school in my country Botswana, the country that believe in educating it’s nation in English and strive for prosperity.
I have worked in the Ministry of Agriculture (school attachment) and have also worked as a Physics, Mathematics and English teacher in an International school for 15 months; where my duties included day-to-day office management such as administration, Finance, communicating with staff and clients from other Agricultural offices in relation with finance issues, projects, administration, feasibility study, record keeping, research and marketing issues and also helping students in achieving great and remarkable grades, technical work and implementation of projects.
I am passionate to work with others and communicate well with people from all background, as well as educating young students and also have keen interest to their development. Gaining more experience in the field of teaching is my biggest objective and I am willing to do my level best. I am kindly asking you to give me three months’ probation and watch the performance of ‘my’ students; I promise you that your school’s foot print will be a positive one.
I am ready to begin immediately and would appreciate an in-person meeting with you. I stay in Shanghai Xuhui, and I am intending to be here for more than one year, holding a student X visa.
