L N Shiimi currently working as a Foreign Trade Manager, a Private Arbitrator appointed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare (Namibia). I have worked as a Labour Law practitioner; worked for the Government of Namibia as a Senior Accountant assigned to the National Population and Housing Census responsible for the overall finance of the programme. I also worked as Trainee Finance and Administrative Manager for the EU funded SADC MCS project my role was to provide administrative support and manage the funds and promote a sound financial management system for Angola, Namibia, South Africa, Mozambique, Tanzania, Mauritius and Seychelles. I was involved in the revising committee for the drafting of amended Labour Law Act No.11 of 2007. Prior to that position, I have been involved in several research studies with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare and with Labour Resource and Research Center; facilitator of a Labour Law Diploma course. I was also an independent consultant involved in Training the Public Servant on Human Resources Policy, Labour Law, developed an HIV/AIDS workplace programme policies for SMEs in Namibia. I was also involved in offering training to the out and on school teenagers in entrepreneurship, finance and business management.
I was an Independent Consultant for the Namibia Chamber of Commerce Industry (NCCI) developing its employees' Performance Management system
