Job Description:

Operating Room Nurse – Assesses patients who will undergo surgery by preparing them physically, emotionally and psychologically. Securing consents prior to surgery as well as building rapport to them, preparing all the needs of the surgeon, establishing and assembling the type and quantity of material and special equipment needed for daily procedures and possible emergencies.

Manages operating room activities, sterilizing and caring for operating room equipment and supplies. Maintains concise and complete records and reports.


Staff Nurse – Responsible for assessment of patient by taking vital signs, establishing rapport in order to develop trust for patient’s cooperation. Collaborates with physicians and ancillary services in planning and implementing the patient’s plan of care and provides patient teaching as appropriate. Performs other diagnostic procedures and clerical functions.

■ Can operate diagnostic equipments such as Treadmill Stress Test, ECG, Audiometry, Spirometry, and Holter Machine.
