A bit about me
Female | | from: China
I am currently in shanghai
Objective: To provide exceptional value and deliver high quality solutions for for innovating forward thinking companies looking for a strong online web project manager/product owner.
I strongly believe that my past 10+ years of diverse ecommerce/onine marketing related solutions for Fortune 500 companies ranging from large consulting companies, reputable financial services firm, large automotive companies, as well as boutique interactive agencies make me a qualified candidate.
As a consultant, most of my projects required implementation of new marketing online systems (via web services and APIs). In my last job as a Project Manager at iCrossing, an online interactive agency, I was responsible for managing an enterprise wide online marketing website for Kia Motors and Nissan/Infiniti. My role required extensive collaboration and coordination from multiple parties such as Business Owners, Client Executives, Stakeholders, Finance & Accounting, 20 Vendor Partners, and IT developers, designers, and testers. I was required to write and review technical requirements documents as well as manage the project’s timeline. I also often worked with offshore technical teams from Buenos Aires, Auckland, San Francisco and Hyderabad. Overall, I was responsible for the project planning and oversaw the execution and rollout of the solutions that ultimately delivered bottom line gains for my client. The solution included rolling out an integrated web-based application, creating a new Dealer Support Center department, and introducing new car lead processing methods and reports for dealers to adopt.
While working at Accenture as a consultant, I worked on BP Amoco/Arco’s merger. This was a high profile and sensitive project as it required streamlining of redundancies across both organizations. We developed an online system for our client to track cost savings across BP Amoco/Arco’s worldwide business. I proudly led a team of 7 responsible for developing and rolling out a new reporting system for the client to track cost savings across their worldwide business units. I also presented the solution at ‘train the trainer’ workshops held in in the US, London, Hong Kong, China & Indonesia.
I feel that my strengths lie in my verbal communications, documentation, and program management skills which I’ve honed over the span of my career. Working as a Business Analyst in my early years helped develop my written/verbal communication, presentation and collaboration skills. I also have much experience and gain much enjoyment in training, motivating, and empowering team members. At iCrossing, I was involved in all the hiring and training of new project managers and analysts as we progressed from a team of 2 to 11. Stewardship is important to me and I always aim to leave a positive footprint in all my deliverables and relationships.
On a personal note, my family and I relocated to Shanghai from California for new opportunities 2.5 years ago. We plan on living here for the next several years. My mandarin level is Chinese Intermediate.
Attached is my CV for your review. I really look forward to meeting you to further discuss my qualifications.
Sincerely,
Nathalie Choy
