I am currently in Shanghai

After my experiences as a researcher, writer and editor, I am comfortable dealing with responsibility, timelines and high expectations of excellence. From 2008 to 2009, I worked with Steve Robbins Group in Michigan as the administrator and writer for a social psychology blog read by NASA's human resources executives. One of the key steps in this process was to systematically update all blog components with information from different research teams, rhythmically organizing data across several topics. At the time, I also managed a team of three intern writers in creating and researching new content for Bayer Pharmaceutical's innovation curriculum and Disney's diversity training program. One of our side projects was to organize small conferences and discussion panels for West Michigan's foremost leaders to generate thoughtful and innovative solutions to local problems. Through these experiences, I developed a motivation to accurately understand project goals and requirements and quickly meet them for the successful completion of a wide spectrum of objectives. Furthermore, I worked as a freelance Spanish translator and editor from 2008 to 2010. This detail-intensive work fine-tuned my sense of organization and enabled me to aptly handle various projects with distinct timelines and requisites.

In addition to this intensive writing background, I have spent the last four months working as a systems analysis/human resources intern with a Shanghai automotive manufacturer, creating and administrating a biweekly training program and analyzing company processes to find necessary improvements. The experience of working alongside manufacturing managers to improve departmental systems has given me a keen mind for communication and information distribution as well as a strength for organization. Coupled with my strong communication skills in English and Spanish, an analytical personality geared toward goal-completion and organization, and a high interest for business in relation to global society, I am confident that will meet and exceed your expectations.
