Current:

Content Editor - Englishtown (English First), Shanghai, China
responsible for the delivery of empowering, high-quality adult online English language learning content utilising cutting-edge technology, from concept phase to writing and editing
ensure task based framework and learning styles met
ensure material is relevant, target language focused, and level appropriate (based on CEFR descriptors)
recruit and manage qualified writers
edit, write and/or proof as and when required
Achievements:
Edited elementary levels for general courware, manged writing of and edited Level Tests and Grammar presentations for all levels
Edited and wrote 5 minute movies to introduce business topics (e.g. Presentations, Social Skills) filmed by profesional acting and film crew in Sweden.
Assisted in syllabus development of 21 Special Industry English Courses (e.g. IT, Telecoms, Banking & Finance, Legal, Research, Science), requiring a adaptation in methodology and course structure, wrote/edited a large number of 5 minute movies, edited/chief edited & proofed majority of lesson material - recently released for use by numerous international companies

interview students to British Council's exacting standards
no negative feedback recieved from students or through observations
