Throughout my working career, I have provided training and educational services in the areas of banking, wealth management, selling and marketing of mutual funds and member services at a five star level. In addition to this, I have written 3 training manuals for the same companies I have worked for as well as a play for theatre. I consider my command of the English language to be excellent. While in university, I was voted the top speaker in class by my peers and spent 5 years on stage in 18 theatrical productions.
I believe the key to teaching English as a Second Language, is patience and clear annunciation, while offering a fun and interactive environment that allows everyone in the class to participate.
For the past 8 years, my focus has been not only on providing this excellence, but empowering others with its intricacies at the Calgary Golf and Country Club. From a personal standpoint, no job was too small or insignificant to not perform to the best of my ability. As a result, I earned “Employee of the Year” at one of the most exclusive golf clubs in Canada. I earned respect from co-workers, management and the membership alike. Many of the people I served now consider me a friend.
