A bit about me

Female | | from: Romania
I am currently in Bucharest, Berlin
Hello.
I would be very interested in a part-time or full time job. I have experience as a translator, conference interpreter and teacher (over 10 years), and I also worked for a year in a marketing department. My languages are English and Romanian (any direction, as I also lived in the US), French-Romanian, French-English, German-Romanian, German-English.
I also have experience with Trados, Logoport and Deja-Vu. I am able to translate up to 20 pages/day, in emergency cases. Of course, I am also willing to translate a small sample paper, just to show what I am capable of.
As a teacher I have taught business English and conversational English to private people, but also to companies and adult groups (Alstom, the Romanian Ministry of Tourism, etc), also for around 10 years.. I am also quite familiar with the IELTS and TOEFL examination standards.
I have also been an interpreter in official meetings and conferences, usually simultaneous interpretation, but also consecutive intepretation, for pharma companies, the Tourism Ministry and business presentations.
Currently I am living in Shanghai, so we could also meet in person.

My phone number is +4 0744.808.163 or, the Chinese number, 18721027928. My email addresses: irinascheusan@gmail.com, irinascheusan@yahoo.com. My skype ID is saladjin and Yahoo Messenger: irinascheusan. Payment can be made via PayPal, Moneybookers, or bank transfer.

I can also mention I have a 10 year experience in translations and proofreading, with thousands of pages translated for companies and private persons, in numerous fields, such as pharma, IT, medical technology and devices, user guides for a number of electronic devices and heavy machinery, oil drilling and electric equipment, tender documentations, contracts and legal papers, etc. My rates are preferably 0.02 Eurocents/word, or 8 Euros/page, min 8 Euros/hour, 15 Euros/tape hour. For references, I can quote Mrs. Manuela Tarloaica from Rentrop&Straton, a Romanian publishing house, email: ManuelaT@rs.ro, and Ms. Adina Mitran, from the press office of the Romanian Ministry of Tourism, email: adina.mitran@gmail.com.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Best regards,
Irina Scheusan
