I am an experienced supply chain professional currently based in Beijing, China. I have over 5 years experience with major Supply Chains and multinational organisations in Sydney, Australia. For the past 3 years I have worked at Aristocrat Technologies, Australia’s largest Gaming machine provider and the world’s 2nd largest provider, in various Supply Chain roles. My passion for operations and international logistics management has led me to specialise in Supply Chain planning.
For the past 15 months I have worked as Global Supply Planner – responsible for managing the supply of raw material and sub-assemblies by coordinating global suppliers located throughout China, Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific, to Aristocrat manufacturing facilities in the United Kingdom, Sydney, Las Vegas, Macau and South African regions. Having led a team of regional buyers based in Australia, USA and UK, I have experience in management and development/mentoring of staff.
Additional to my supply planning duties, I also have experience leading and managing major projects; most recently acting as Project Manager for the tender selection process and the resulting global implementation of a new 3PL Provider into Aristocrat’s global regions. I am also familiar in many aspects of the supply chain, including financial analysis, International logistics and trade, supply & demand planning, forecast management, production planning and supply chain/ERP/DRP systems. I am an expert on Aristocrat’s Planning & Fulfilment process (DRP), having been heavily involved in the rollout of the Infor DRP System, and training of staff and suppliers globally over the past 2 years.
Educationally, I have a Masters Degree in Logistics Management at the University of Sydney, and a Bachelors Degree in Business (majoring in Management) at Holmes Institute. I am APICS CPIM qualified; I am also a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma.
I have specialist experience working within a supply chain environment heavily focused on sourcing from Asia and China in particular; I can speak fluent English and Korean, and can also understand a little Mandarin; and have cultural knowledge of Asian backgrounds.
