I am currently in Maoming Guangdong Province

I am a native Australian and I have now been teaching in China for one year. I am looking for a chance to continue developing as a teacher, while earning a little more money and learning more about China. During this past year I have not had any days off for any reason but this year I am going to compete in the Great Wall of China Marathon. I work hard to stay fit and healthy and this helps me to be sometimes more energetic than my younger peers.
I find that teaching inspire me to continually learn and develop because the responsibility that comes with being a teacher is huge and I take that responsibility very seriously. I also enjoy the intrinsic rewards of teaching.
My contract here in Maoming finishes on the 21st January 2011. I am hoping to stay in China for several more years.
