• Assisted in second summer of survey work prior to excavation under Dr. Scott Hutson (University of Kentucky).
• Plotted platforms, mounds, matates, ciche mounds and collected surface residue for analysis.
• Operated total transit station and plotted surface points, producing topographical map of 20-kilometer site.

Immersive Program, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia Summer 2008
• Awarded the United States Department of State Critical Language Scholarship.
• Improved fluency in Russian by residing with a Russian family.
