I'm an Ivy League educated Korean-American with a Masters Degree from Yonsei GSIS. I'm on an F-4 Visa and currently reside in Sinchon. I speak English with a "North American" accent unfettered by any discernible regional accent. And while I would not consider myself bilingual, some may consider my level of Korean "conversant."
I have a fairly diverse background, having worked in the financial industry, corporate law, and even the realm of American politics. My education has focused on the Arts; but having started on an early pre-med path, I also have some grounding in the Sciences.
Most recently, I've been teaching elementary~middle school students English in Korea but am looking to different challenges. Whether such a change be as subtle as a change in age-group of the student base or as drastic as to allow for greater freedom in the creative writing department, I look forward to the opportunity to contribute.
