RE: TEFL Teachers
To whom it may concern:
I am interested in a position in Korea teaching English. I taught in Korea where I worked with Elementary and middle school children teaching English. I spent a year working with “at risk” youth for Janus Youth Services. I enjoy working with people. I feel this would be an excellent fit with my degree as well as confirm my belief that we need to function as a community in teaching our children.
I hold two degrees from Marylhurst University; one in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Anthropology, Sociology, History, Psychology, and Philosophy and one more specialized in Psychology yielding a 3.8 GPA I am also Certified to Teach English as a foreign and second language (140 hr). I have recently started classes to obtain my Masters in Teaching, ESL.
I am currently teaching first through fifth graders in an after school program and working with the School District in my area as an Educational Substitute. I can be reached at 503-622-6597 or 503-799-6124. I can also be contacted through my email at birchjml@gmail.com. I appreciate your time and look forward to speaking with you.
Thank you,
Julie Lickey
